The annual APAS Fundraising Gala is the Asian Pacific American Society's main fundraising event. The evening encompasses a celebration of our many communities, highlighting community members with the Frank Hara Community Service Award and the crowning of Ms. APAS. Thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and contestants for making the annual APAS Gala a beautiful, successful evening.
For whole table reservations and group discounts, please contact APAS directly at events@apasnola.com. Individual tickets to the APAS Gala are available on Eventbrite.
Frank Hara Community Service Excellence Award | Frank Hara was one of the founders of the Asian Pacific American Society who also served as Board President from 1983-1984. He had a passion for preserving the culture and heritage of the various Asian communities in and around the greater New Orleans area. Frank Hara Community Service Excellence Award recipients are nominated by their community and are selected based on meaningful contributions and dedication to serving others. As a non-profit organization made possible by volunteers, APAS recognizes and celebrates their hard work. Heartfelt congratulations to the Frank Hara Community Service Excellence Award recipients! |
The APAS Ambassador campaign is a contest of dedication and commitment to help APAS raise funds for its various programs. To earn the title and crown of APAS Ambassador, one must raise the most funds through gala ticket sales, sponsorship ads, and raffle ticket sales. Results are tallied and confirmed by at least two people and kept confidential until the unveiling of the results at the APAS gala. APAS values the hard work of each candidate, their family, friends, and community members.
A sincere thank you to all the APAS Ambassador candidates and the communities they each represent.
