    The annual APAS Fundraising Gala is returning this year at Chateau Golf and Country November 11th. With all proceeds going to APAS and its mission, the silent auction is full of wonderful items and packages cultivated by our communities and friends. We are excited to announce the silent auction will be virtual for this year's sold out gala!

    After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, we are excited to be back with our APAS Fundraising Gala Friday, November 11th at the Chateau Golf and Country Club. If you or your business are interested in being a sponsor at the event, please fill out this form

    Join the evening of fun and celebration with dinner, performances, and dancing as the 2022 APAS Cecil J. Murphy Scholarship is awarded, Frank Hara Service Awards are presented, and Mx. APAS is crowned. Funds raised will help APAS continue the mission of educating, promoting, and preserving Asian cultures in activities such as the annual Asian Heritage Festival, children's activities, scholarship fund, and educational workshops.

    Tickets are available through Eventbrite with early bird pricing until October 15th. Please note that donations and tickets are non-refundable.

    APAS is part of the 2022 Culture Collision taking place Wednesday, September 21 at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center (6400 Airline Highway) from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. This free event is open to the public. Come visit the APAS table to connect with some of our board members and learn about other non-profit organizations in the Greater New Orleans area.

    Our friends at VAYLA New Orleans are hosting a Mid-Autumn Festival and invites our community for a night of radical joy at Paradigm Gardens on Saturday, September 10th to celebrate the full moon.

    Mid-Autumn Moon Festival celebrates the fullest moon of the year, or the Harvest Moon, and is a perfect evening to invite our community together. The full moon symbolizes things such as growth, renewal, fertility, and togetherness as friends and family gather with great food and drinks. In that same spirit, VAYLA's first Ginger Roots zine features food, family, and how we stay connected to our roots while planting new ones. Pick up a fresh copy of the zine while enjoying Dong Phuong mooncakes, amazing food by LUFU, and a signature cocktail with fresh Paradigm Garden ingredients!

    • 5:30pm Doors open. Food is first come, first served! Cash bar is open with non-alcoholic options available. Tips are welcome.

    Japan Society and Japan Club of New Orleans invite APAS members to Meet Up at Wetlands Sake on Wednesday, September 7th at 5pm. Enjoy Happy Hour together with new friends while networking. Wetlands Sake is a new local sake brewery that serves crafted sake from the tap in the warehouse district.
